Holdem Poker Rules
Texas Holdem – round One
- The first person to sit at a table becomes the dealer for the first poker hand bonus.
- A new poker game on an active table starts when the button rotates clockwise to the next online poker game player.
- The online poker game player next to the button / dealer is required to place the small blind. The small blind is equal to
half the lower stake. This is merely a guideline for determining the blinds rather than a strict
rule.
- The next holdem poker game player, to the left of the small blind, is required to post the Poker Big Blind, equal to the lower stake limit. It is sometimes acceptable for more than one online poker game player to post a Poker Big Blind in a poker hand, for instance when a new online poker game player joins a table at which a poker game is currently in process. The new online casino poker game player may get the option of placing a Poker Big Blind at the start of the next poker hand or may have to wait for his/her turn (this is indicated by the movement of the button).
Bets may be placed in any of the following ways:
– Bet, Call and Raise.
- Fold.

Blind) to bid (in the first online poker game round) would get the Bet, Call and Raise option. Subsequent online poker game players also get
the Call and Raise options. "Call" mean to bet the same as the previous online poker game player. "Raise" calls for raising
the bet/call amount of the previous online poker game player and can be calculated according to the value of the previous
bet.
- Each participant is required to place a betting amount equal to that of the previous online poker game players (including
bets, calls and raises) and the betting continues until such time as all online poker game players have placed equal
amounts in the pot.
- The number of bets a online poker game player may place during a betting online poker game round is limited and is taken into
consideration during the poker hand. See "Standard Rules" section for the limits on the number of
bets per online poker game round.
- When the first online poker game round of betting is over, the Flop (the first three community cards) is dealt. The
community cards are dealt simultaneously to all the online poker game players participating in the poker hand.
Texas Holdem – round Two
- Following the Flop and in each subsequent betting online poker game round, the online poker game player to the left of the button acts first.
- In the second betting online poker game round, the value of Bets and Raises are also limited to the lower limit of the
stake structure. Therefore the value of each Bet in a $10/$20 is $10 for the second online poker game round.
- Bets limited to $10 refer to placed (single) bets to the value of $10. Therefore, when a online poker game player places
“BET”, it is for $10. “RAISE” would be $20 and includes an additional bet and a call on the bet placed
by the previous online poker game player.
Bets may be placed in any of the following ways:
– Bet, Call and Raise. These options are subject to the action taken by the previous online poker game player. The first online poker game player (to the left of the Poker Big Blind) to bid (in the first online poker game round) gets the Bet option. Texas Holdem –round Four
- The fourth and final betting online poker game round also starts with the online poker game player to the left of the button. Here too bets and raises are limited to the upper limit of the stake structure ($20 in a $10/$20 poker game).
- Bets limited to $20 refer to placed (single) bets to the value of $20 . Therefore when a online poker game player places
“BET”, it is for $20. “RAISE” would be $40 and includes an additional bet and a call on the bet placed
by the previous online poker game player.

Showdown
"Showdown" – refers to the action of deciding who wins the pot and when all online click2pay poker game players display their cards (optional, as a online poker game player may choose not to show his/her cards).

- Five cards out of the total number of hole and community cards are used for deciding on the winning
poker hands.
A combination of the following may be used –

- If this is the best poker hand, the remaining online poker game players may show their cards (optional).
- The aggressor shows his poker hand first only if he was the last to initiate action on the river.
Determining the winner
- The winning combination is determined according to a set bonus rank of cards. To view the various rank

- If two or more poker hands contain equal ranking, the winner is the online poker game player with the higher cards.
For example, a Flush with an Ace high beats a Flush with a casino King high.
- If the pokers remain tied, the winning poker hand is determined by the highest card not held in common
(the Kicker).
- The suit order of the cards is not taken into account in deciding on the winning cards. |
